Our reasons for becoming financial professionals are deeply personal. We repeatedly saw many friends and family struggling to find the help they needed to map out their financial future. We are confident that with our understanding of personal finance, coupled with our training as financial professionals, we can help people better prepare for the future. After years in the business, we have developed a reputation for educating individuals in an easy-to-understand manner so they can grasp personal finance and use those concepts to pursue their financial objectives. Megan Avery
Megan L. Avery, ChFC® is the founder of Legacy Consulting LLC, Legacy Tax Advisory LLC and Legacy Transitions LLC. She and her team have served Maryland residents since 1998. Throughout her career, she has focused primarily on tax, estate, retirement and income planning strategies. Megan received her Chartered Financial Consultant Designation from The American College and received extensive training from the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys. Megan holds her Series 6, and 7 securities registrations through LPL Financial. Megan is a member of Daughters of the American Revolution as well as many other nationally recognized organizations. Megan has also been participating in “Women in Business,” a fundraiser which benefits the Susan G. Komen Foundation. To remain up-to-date on industry products and regulatory changes, Megan completes annual required continuing education. Additionally, as part of elective continuing education, she has obtained a residential real-estate agent license. She doesn’t go it alone. To help serve her clients, Megan has a great team of employees and a network of strategic partners. The group’s offices have been in Heaver Plaza in Lutherville, MD for 20 years. In 2017, Megan purchased Legacy’s new location, also in Lutherville, and is proud to secure her roots and continue to serve the community.
